The Arkansas – Louisiana EMS Conference is returning this year and will be held on May 9-11 in historic Hot Springs, Arkansas. The venue is the newly opened Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort. The Louisiana Ambulance Alliance will be hosting a Cost Reporting Support (CORES) meeting on Wednesday February 22nd at 9:30 am for ambulance providers selected to start CMS required cost data collection in 2023.
On January 30th, the Biden Administration announced its intent to end the COVID-19 national emergency and public health emergency declarations on May 11, 2023. To ensure a smooth transition and help protect the health and well-being of the American people, CMS has taken immediate action to update fact sheets and other supporting resources to prepare for changes that will occur beginning on May 11.
